Leading Edge Industrial Technologies, LLC Introduces HX Series CNC Machines for Use in Classrooms at IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2016

Lafayette, Ind. . . . Leading Edge Industrial Technologies, LLC showcased its new HX Series CNC (Computer Numerical Control) lathe and milling machine for use in classrooms at IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2016 which was held at Chicago’s McCormick Place Sept. 12-17.

The ideal affordable option for training students in CNC, the HX Series LEI HX710 Turning Center and LEI HX8410 Vertical Machining Center are small and portable, but fully capable CNC machines that can cut most materials including wood, plastic, aluminum, steel, and titanium.

In addition to the machines, Leading Edge Industrial provides videos, lessons, and plan sets that career and technical educators can use in their classrooms.

The HX Series machines use industry standard G&M codes which allow educators to teach students industry recognized machine language.

Because the LEI HX710 Turning Center and LEI HX8410 Vertical Machining Center are designed for standard 120v outlet power, no phase converter or room modifications are needed.
